» Message from the Chief Spokesman - Our fight for justice

Nikhil SyalMy family has been fighting this legal battle for over 12 years and In the course of this struggle 3 members of my family have laid down their lives and even though their tremendous loss cannot be described in words the Next Generation of the Syal Family along with the support of all our 25 lakh investors and 3 lakh team members will now take up this fight as our duty. We will not let the sacrifices of Late Sh A.L.SYAL, Late Smt.NEENA SYAL & Late Sh.R.K.SYAL go in vain. We will fight for the due rights of each and every member of the Golden Family and we shall not rest till my father's dream is achieved. We shall ensure that justice is done to the 25 lakh families with us and all the members of the Golden Family get their due.

I believe from the core of my heart that Golden Forests India Limited can easily pay off all its liabilities with interest. The properties of the company are worth several times its total liability. As on today the total liability of Golden Forests India Limited is less than Rs.1200 crores while the assets of the company are worth more than Rs.5,000 crores. However for the money to be returned to all our investors the properties must be sold expeditiously at fair market price. Sadly the current auction process is far from transparent and is too slow. Our properties are being auctioned at 25%-30% of the market value and furthermore the speed of the process is so slow that in the last 5 years only Rs.300 Crores have been collected. At this speed it will take 10-15 years to collect the total 1200 crore rupees.

I respect the judicial system of India and have the same respect for the Hon'ble Committee. I believe that all members of the Hon'ble Committee are of high integrity and are well suited for this work. The reason they are facing these problems in the auction process is that there is no person from the real estate background involved in this auction process. It is the need of the hour that a member from the management of Golden Forests India Limited is involved (as advisor) in this auction process. If the Hon'ble Committee would agree to involve us in this process I promise all our investors and team members that the return of money would start within 6 months.

To hear from you I remain,

NIKHIL KANT SYAL.
(Chief Spokesman & Authorised Representative.)

I think committee has to be more powerful to handle the case. I think current asset value will be more than 20,000 Crores as land value has increase many fold within lase 10 Years.

It is highly remorseful to note that the pioneer of plantation Investment is dead. But the court room drama played by SEBI on one hand and Hon'ble H.C. and S.C. on the other hand is equally frustrating. The company is closed since a decade. The case is stretched for 7 years. I think committee nominated is not able to handle the case. Once company has land and other assets worth repaying easily then this much long time of wait is not justified.

Who know's I may not last to see the day break, which will come after the drama is over.
